“We are humbled to receive this grant from The Ireland Funds. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our events responsible for 70% of our annual budget. The support helped ensure that we did not have to limit or halt our services for victims of domestic violence and their children. Additionally, these funds provided critical pandemic resources of groceries, supplies, cleaning/disinfecting supplies, emergency clothing/shoes for new families, and case management. The generosity of The Ireland Funds and its 2020 Texas Emerald Ball Honoree, Gary Kelly, Chairman and CEO of Southwest Airlines, inspires us.
