On Thursday December 15th, the San Francisco Young Leaders came together for an evening of Christmas Cheer. Guests gathered to celebrate the season in a fun festive atmosphere with special Christmas cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at The Republic, a wine bar and grill in San Francisco’s Marina District.
Guests included key supporters Jacqueline Paulin, Ryan Murray, Mike McGrath, Neil Sands, Sarah Smith, Steven Jacobs, Kathryn West, Kyle Jenke, and Andrew Hartman. Mike McGrath was the winner of the drawing for a special bottle of Tullamore Dew!
The San Francisco group now looks forward to The Ireland Funds Young Leaders Inaugural Worldwide Summit in New York City January 19-22, 2012. The event will convene around the vital work of The Ireland Funds as well as provide an opportunity to nurture professional and personal ties to modern Ireland.
As the year wraps up, we are excited to see a thriving group of new Young Leaders in San Francisco. In 2011, we’ve enjoyed seeing The Coronas in concert at Slim’s, welcomed the Young leaders to the Gala Dinner in March and attended a San Francisco Giants game in June. We’ve also had several gatherings to discuss strategy and plans for the New Year. Stay tuned for more updates on 2012 get-togethers…
Special thanks to Jacqueline Paulin of William Grant and Sons for her terrific donation of cocktails and appetizers and for creating a signature drink for the party. The delicious and refreshing Snow Miser proved popular- Hendrick’s Gin, Muddled Cucumber, Lavender-Infused Simple Syrup, Fresh Lemon, Soda.
