Australian Ireland Fund Young Leaders, Celebrating Irish Art in Australia 2 August 2012
What a great night it was last night at the Cut Room in the Argyle Centre, more than 200 people attended this exhibition enjoying the multitude of talent on display in the gorgeous surroundings of the Sandstone walls of The Cut Room, wooden beams and candelabras.
Chris Gilroy brought the work of the artists, Bernadette Breen, Stephen Forbes, Alison McAnally, David Sweet, Noel Murphy, Gerard Maguire and Ruari Fallon, out to Australia together with Charles Gilmore Fine Art to celebrate and promote the wonderful talent that exists in Ireland.
Mike Goldsmith Kindly MC’d the evening for us, Kerry Morrison, on behalf of the Young Leader Committee welcomed guests including Caitriona Ingoldsby, Consul General of Ireland , Teresa Keating Executive Director of the Australian Ireland Fund, Yvonne le Bas, Treasurer of the Fund and CFO Group Services Westpac and Briege Tuite Director of the Fund.
