We are lucky enough to have two inteationally renowned Guest Speakers: Dr Timothy Sharp (aka Dr Happy) and Jonathan Nicholas from Inspire, a charity supported by The Australian Ireland Fund.

The last breakfast was a great success and it is a wonderful opportunity to catch up with each other, meet new people, lea how we are supporting the great work of Inspire, and to come away ourselves feeling inspired by Jonathan Nicholas and entertained by the world-renowned Dr Tim Sharp.

CEO, Inspire

The Inspire Foundation provides services which aim to improve young people’s mental health and let them know that they don’t have to go through tough times alone. Inspire CEO, Jonathan Nicholas, is responsible for the strategic, operational and tactical management of Inspire in Australia. Jonathan was part of the original team that launched the Inspire Foundation’s ReachOut.com service in 1998.

He has a background in child psychology and human rights, having completed an Honours degree in psychology and a Masters in Public Health. While working with Inspire, Jonathan has provided training to Indonesia on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and co-authored a report for UNICEF on the situation of children and women living in Cambodia.

 

Dr Timothy Sharp

Dr. Sharp is one of Australia's leaders in the exciting new science of positive psychology and happiness. In short, he is one of this country's leading Executive Coaches, a highly qualified consultant on matters relating to human behavior and a popular and sought after public/corporate speaker.

Dr. Sharp has received many accolades, such as a Future Leadership Award from the Australian Davos and has been invited to be an Australia Day Ambassador due to his tireless efforts over 20 years to improve mental health and promote happiness and positivity throughout Australia.

Dr. Sharp is also a published author having written several self-help books including the best selling "The Good Sleep Guide", and "The Happiness Handbook". He regularly appears in the media and has been featured on Today Tonight, A Current Affair, Good Moing Australia and from early in 2012, he will feature in Channel 9's exciting reality TV show "Excess Baggage".
