Women In Leadership & Philanthropy Luncheon

We were thrilled to have our Women in Leadership and Philanthropy luncheon on Wednesday 5th March. It was wonderful to see 150 guests fill the beautiful Strangers’ Room at Parliament House to not only celebrate St Brigid’s Day and International Women’s Day, but to also hear the inspirational journeys of our influential speakers Beverley McGarvey, President Network 10 & Head of Streaming, Paramount ANZ and Rosie Keane, Consul General in conversation with the fabulous Sarah O’Carroll, Editor-in-Chief, Forbes Australia. There was a great energy and excitement in the room and it was an absolute privilege to hear these women’s insightful and impactful stories. We are also very thankful to the Irish Consulate and Enterprise Ireland for partnering with us.

Now in its second year, our Women in Leadership and Philanthropy initiative has raised $117,000 to support the No Mind Left Behind Scholarship Program which offers life changing scholarships to promising young women. (A one year scholarship placement costs $6,600). We launched our WIL&P 100 Club in August 2024 to provide an affordable and easy Tax-Deductible option for people to support this initiative and we encourage you to do so by donating $100 per month ($1200 annually) here

We are so very proud of this series and its capacity to bring women together who have a love of, or connection to, Ireland to not only connect with each other and empower ourselves but to support promising young women and give back to those in need. We look forward to continuing to build this initiative at future events where we can all come together to empower, inspire and give.
