The Chicago Young Leaders had their first (and sure to be an annual) WinterGreen Gala at the Galleria Marchetti on Friday, January 28, 2011. The event was, as Crain's Chicago Business said, one of the top ten places to be in Chicago last weekend.
Guests enjoyed an evening of networking, camaraderie, dancing and live music provided by the Chancey Brothers.
The hard work of the committee and generosity of the Young Leaders enabled a sizeable donation to The Ireland Funds' Promising Ireland Campaign underscoring their commitment to helping Irish nonprofit organizations meet the challenges of increased demand for their services.
Thank you to all those that contributed to the evening, especially Ashland Addison Florist, Café Ba Ba Reeba, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cut Steakhouse, Eli's Cheesecake Company, Galleria Marchetti, Grosvenor Capital Management, Irish Consulate, Kenny Construction, National Marine Manufacturers Association and Vaughan Hospitality Group.
