On Friday, March 7th, the Washington, DC Young Leaders hosted their 2nd annual Kick off to St. Patrick’s Day cocktail event in the President’s Room of Georgetown’s newest and hippest Irish pub, Ri Ra.
In just its second year, the event is proving to be the DC “event of choice” to officially kick off the St. Patrick’s season in the nation’s capital as over 200 guests packed the house to kick off the season in style.
Food and drink specials were available throughout the night and live Irish music by local favorites filled the venue.
The event, billed as a “Friendraiser” actually raised over $3,000 through raffle tickets and donations from the generous attendees.
The event was a great opportunity for the Young Leaders to promote their robust calendar of events in DC including the upcoming Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day signature event.
