On the evening of March 1st, The American Ireland Fund DC Young Leaders and friends gathered in DC to ring in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day season.
Over 100 young professionals gathered at BlackFinn Saloon in Washington, DC for the Kickoff to St. Patrick’s Day event. There was live music featuring Conor Malone, and raffle prizes included tickets to a Capital’s game and to The American Ireland Fund Washington, DC 21st National Gala in March.
Megan Molloy, DC Young Leaders Steering Committee Chair said, "Tonight was a great show of support for the island of Ireland from The American Ireland Fund Young Leaders here in our nation's capital. As a group, we are excited about the opportunity to harness the energy and enthusiasm in the room and transform it into quantifiable support for outstanding charities in Ireland."
The event promoted AIF DC Young Leaders’ membership and fundraising and introduced the mission of The American Ireland Fund to new friends.
