Visit to Mick Channon’s Racing Stables at Newbury Races 2013

Top racehorse trainer Mick Channon opened the gates of his historic West Ilsley Stables, formerly owned by HM The Queen, to welcome guests of the Ireland Fund of Great Britain on a perfect spring morning.

A champagne breakfast was provided by Insignia Racing who showcased their 2 year olds to an enthusiastic audience.  Since then Jaywalking has made his racecourse debut coming 2nd with promise of future glory.

Ireland Fund guests continued onto Newbury Racecourse for an afternoon’s racing hosted by Mick and Insignia Racing in their private box overlooking the winning line.  HM The Queen attended the races too.
