NY Young Leaders ‘Summer in the City’ Event
On Wednesday, August 21, The Ireland Funds New York Young Leaders relaunched their ‘Summer in the City’ event. Over 150 guests gathered on the terrace of MetLife Building in support of the philanthropic work of The Ireland Funds.
Claudia Cotter, Head of the New York Young Leaders welcomed everyone and thanked the Committee for all their time and effort that they dedicated to the event. She then introduced Gareth Hargadon, Deputy Consul General, from the Consulate General of Ireland in New York. Gareth spoke about the impact of The Ireland Funds, for over 48 years. He also emphasized importance of the next generation – The Young Leaders.
