Sarah Friar

OpenAI

Chief Financial Officer

Sarah Friar is the CFO of OpenAI, overseeing financial strategy and operations. Previously, she was CEO of Nextdoor from December 2018 to May 2024, where she took the company public and tripled its user base. Before Nextdoor, Sarah was CFO at Square, leading its IPO and increasing its market capitalization by $30 billion. She also held senior roles at Salesforce, Goldman Sachs, and McKinsey. Sarah serves on the board of Consensys and several advisory boards, and co-founded Ladies Who Launch, a network that mentors and inspires women entrepreneurs and business owners. Sarah grew up in Northern Ireland and earned her MEng in Metallurgy, Economics, and Management from the University of Oxford and her MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she graduated as an Arjay Miller scholar. She also holds a OBE for services to entrepreneurship.

 

Amy Roberti

Stripe

Head of Public Policy for the Americas and Global Tax Policy 

At Stripe, Amy Roberti leads teams in Washington, San Francisco and Latin America engaged on Public Policy issues that impact financial services, technology policy as well as tax policy issues globally. Prior to joining Stripe, Amy led US Federal Government Relations and was the Director of Global Tax Policy for Procter & Gamble in Washington, D.C., focusing on high priority US and international tax law and policy issues. She returned to the US from a position at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France where she was a Tax Policy Analyst at the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information. Prior to joining OECD she was Tax Counsel and Chief of Staff for Congressman John Larson (D-CT) who is a member of the Ways and Means Committee and also was elected as Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, serving in the House Leadership for 8 years. Amy graduated from Pennsylvania State University and Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. She speaks publicly around the world on issues related to business taxation and tax policy.

 

 

Lorraine Twohill

Chief Marketing Officer

As Google’s Chief Marketing Officer, Lorraine manages a global team responsible for telling the story of Google’s brand, helping millions of businesses grow with Google’s tools, and bringing to life the helpfulness of Google’s products for billions of users every day. Her teams oversee global marketing across some of the world’s most used and loved brands – including Google Search, Android, Pixel, YouTube, and Google Cloud – and how AI is creating new opportunities across all of these products for users, businesses and partners. Lorraine graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in International Marketing and Languages. She has been named Adweek’s Grand Brand Genius, Business Insider’s Most Innovative CMO, Cannes Creative Marketer of the Year and one of the world’s 50 Most Powerful Moms. Lorraine sits on Google’s social impact council, and is very passionate about education and economic opportunity for all, she has spoken at the United Nations on empowering women through access to digital tools. A native of Carlow, Ireland, Lorraine lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two children, and their dog, Coco.
