At the recent inauguration of the piano jointly donated by The ireland Fund of France and Paul & Moya
Coulson, the world famous Irish pianist Micéal O'Rourke regaled the chosen audience of friends of Ireland
with a repertoire of Beethoven, Chopin, Fauré and Debussy.
The encore rendering of An Culainn was a highlight of the evening.
The Embassy now looks forward to future
musical recitals by Irish and artists of many other nationalities on the magnificent Steinway which now
sits proudly in the salon of the Embassy. The ireland Fund of France is proud to have donated this
magnificent instrument to the Embassy.
