Tommy Gallagher, one of the original founders of the Texas Irish American Cup Challenge and longtime friend of The Ireland Funds, hosted his recurring Gentlemen’s Evening of Cocktails and Dinner at the Dallas Country Club. More than 35 guests comprised of past Chairmen, visiting Irish golfers and special guests attended the event.
Tommy welcomed and thanked John and Joe Tillotson for Co-Chairing; Sylvia Tillotson for Chairing the Ladies Committee; all Advisory Committee members and past Chairmen. His special mentions also included June and Archie Bennett, Lou Ann and Mike Corboy; and a special toast in memory of “our great friend, Jack Sistrunk” who had recently passed.
“We all enjoyed our time reconnecting with old friends and are looking forward to next year’s Tournament to raise awareness for The Ireland Funds and all the deserving projects it supports,” said Tommy Gallagher.
