There is no better way to kick off this year’s golf season than at our Golf Day at Ealing Golf Club, West London.

The day will commence from 07.30 with tea and bacon baguettes and tee off will begin at 08.15pm. The competition format is a Fourball Texas Scramble and we will be awarding prizes for first, second and third place as well as presenting prizes to the winner of the longest drive and nearest the pin. After play, from 13.30, supporters will enjoy Guinness, Irish stew and live Irish music.

Ealing Golf Club is the home of 18 holes of charming but challenging parkland golf with narrow tree-lined fairways, fast well-bunkered greens and the river Brent meanders around several holes presenting additional challenges.

This Golf Day is an important fundraiser for us and the monies raised will go towards helping the vulnerable and elderly members of the Irish community across the UK.

Tickets:

Fourball – £500 (inc. lunch)
Individual golf tickets – £125 (inc. lunch)
Tickets to the lunch and afteoon entertainment – £50

Don’t know Texas Scramble?!

This game is a great laugh – each player hits a tee shot and the best ball, as determined by the captain, is selected for the second shot. Each member of the team hits his or her shot from that spot and this process continues until the hole is played out but at least four drives of each member of the team must be used during the course of the round. This game is very sociable and great for all abilities.

To purchase teams or lunch tickets over the phone or for more information about the day or about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Cecily Henderson at chenderson@irlfunds.org or on 0207 940 9857 for more information.
