Despite the stifling heat, many brave AIF New York Young Leaders came to celebrate the Summer in the City event at the Dubliner on the old cobblestone streets of downtown Manhattan.
The Young Leaders were delighted to be joined by AIF Chairman Loretta Brennan Glucksman and Board Director & Patron of the Young Leaders Bob McCann. Both Loretta and Bob spoke warmly about the Young Leaders and the incredible importance of the group as the Fund moves into its next generation of leadership. The Young Leaders are the future of The Ireland Funds and they will be working to strengthen their national and global structure – ensuring the great work of The Ireland Funds for years to come.
Guests were treated to live music by up-and-coming Irish guitarist and vocalist, Eric McGrath. The evening also included an incredible spread of auction and raffle prizes.
The American Ireland Fund New York Young Leaders thank their generous sponsors: Mary Beth Glaccum of Lucas Capital Management and Castle Brands Liquor for their donations of Boru Vodka and Clontarf Whiskey. The Fund also thanks auction donors Orla Kiely, Edun, Duncan Quinn, and John Murray amongst others.
