Canada – St. Patrick’s Day Lunch 2015

The Ireland Fund of Canada is pleased to host its 2015 St. Patrick’s Day lunch in memory of the Honourable Jim Flaherty. 

Mr. Flaherty was a tremendous supporter of The Ireland Fund of Canada and of Irish causes across Canada and throughout the island of Ireland. In tribute, The Ireland Fund of Canada will establish the Jim Flaherty Memorial Fund which will benefit charities focused on work with youth in two areas:

  1. Access to education
  2. Peace and reconciliation throughout the island of Ireland and across Canada.

At this year’s lunch we will celebrate a proud Canadian with strong Irish roots and the many significant contributions he made to Canada and the world.

We hope you will join us to honour and remember this great man.
