A Sense of Ireland – a celebration of Ireland in Singapore!
The Ireland Funds Singapore invites you to join us for a ‘Sense of Ireland’ – a series of charitable events bringing Irish and Singaporean communities together to celebrate Irish food and culture during March 2022 and to raise funds for The Ireland Funds Singapore and our Beneficiaries in Singapore in the areas of community development, education, arts and culture, and sports.
Our beneficiaries in 2022 include Downs Syndrome Association Singapore, HopeHouse, Rainbow Centre, SPD and SWCO Star Shelter
Includes Irish-themed set lunches, afternoon teas and dinners, sneak preview screening of documentary film about Brother Joseph McNally, sports activities, and fun family scavenger hunts – there’s something for everyone!

Get off the beaten track on a driving or cycling scavenger hunt to discover Singaporean ‘ulu’ places (including a few Irish gems) that you have never visited before.
This event takes place over seven days, so you can also taxi, bus, MRT the scavenger course at your leisure over the course of the week.

Interested to learn more about Gaelic Football, one of Ireland’s national sports? Come down and join the Singapore Gaelic Lions who will put you through your paces and share some of the skills and techniques of this unique Irish game. All ages welcome – children and adults! By registration only.

Exclusive Sneak Preview – “Brother Joe” Film

An exclusive ‘sneak peek’ screening of “Brother Joe”, a documentary film celebrating the life and work of Brother Joseph McNally. The film provides a unique insight into the man behind the cloth, the educator, and the artist – the inspiring and much loved ‘Brother Joe’.
Opening address by Ambassador Patrick Bourne and post-screening Q&A with Director James Khoo, film-maker and LASALLE alumnus, Kumari Nahappan, artist, and Milenko Prvacki, Senior Fellow, LASALLE.
Directed by James Khoo, supported by The Ireland Funds Singapore under The McNally Legacy at LASALLE College of the Arts and the National Heritage Board. Produced by Pangolin Films.
