New York Young Leaders Celtic Christmas Celebration 2017

On Thursday, December 7th, the New York Young Leaders gathered for their annual Celtic Christmas tradition in the loft at Tribeca Grill to celebrate a great year of fundraising and to recognize our Young Leader of the Year, Dan Flynn.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with a welcome cocktail and tunes by Vonnie Quinn and Sean Moloney.

Later in the evening, National Director of The Young Leaders, Pat Tully started the official program, welcomed the guests, including The Ireland Funds America Chairman, John Fitzpatrick, and recapped another great year for the New York Young Leaders and The Ireland Funds worldwide.

Pat introduced 2016 Young Leader of the Year, Brendan Kenny, who ran down the many reasons why he and his Young Leader peers unanimously voted for Dan Flynn, who went above and beyond the volunteer call of duty to be an ambassador for The Ireland Funds. Dan then accepted his award, spoke about his proud Irish heritage and encouraged people to learn more about the work of The Ireland Funds and to go to Ireland and see that work first hand.

Pat Tully then led a spirited live auction which included a Napa Valley wine trip, courtesy of our friends at Delta Airlines.

The festive atmosphere continued from there and the guests were then invited to the after party at Ken McCoy’s Ward III in Tribeca.

Special thanks to Delta Airlines, Jameson Irish Whiskey.
