Michael joined Wells Fargo Advisors LLC as Managing Director in March 2016 from Credit Suisse, where he spent 8 years. Michael heads the Brewster Financial Strategies Group at Wells Fargo Advisors. He has spent the past 21 years managing investments for high net worth and institutional clients, 16 of which were spent at Lehman Brothers. Michael is the sole manager of the MB Value and Growth, MB Strategic Dividend and Income and MB Small Mid-Cap and Special Situations Portfolios on the team. Michael was recognized from 2010-2016 as one of Barron’s Top 1,000 Advisors. He has been honored by Irish American Magazine as one of the “Top Irish Americans on Wall Street” for many years. Michael serves on the boards of Irish Inteational Business Network, National University of Ireland, Galway, The Ireland U.S. Council and is involved with the GPA in the USA. Michael graduated from Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) in Ireland with a higher diploma in Management Finance and from Thomas Edison State University with a BS in Business Administration. Michael was fortunate to emigrate to America in 1989, he counts himself blessed.

Cillian Murphy

Cillian Murphy is a patron of the UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre at NUI Galway (UCFRC). His commitment to the work of the Centre stems from a shared interest in empowering young people to actively engage in their communities and in building their capacity to influence change on issues that matter to them. Through his affiliation with the Youth Research strand of the UCFRC, Cillian has championed the importance of research led by young people including the inteational launch of two videos documenting the findings of youth researchers on mental health awareness and the challenges facing LGBT youth. He has also hosted ‘in conversation’ events with young people on a number of issues including empathy, resilience and the importance of social support. Cillian recently appeared in season two of BBC’s gangster saga “Peaky Blinders” where he reprises the role of Thomas Shelby. Recent films include the sci-fi drama, “Transcendence” opposite Johnny Depp, Martin Freeman and Kate Mara, in “Aloft” with Jennifer Connelly and he will soon appear in “In The Heart of the Sea” with Chris Hemsworth and Brendan Gleeson, directed by Ron Howard. Cillian Murphy was bo in Douglas, Cork. He’s the eldest child of Brendan Murphy, who works for the Irish Department of Education, and a mother who is a teacher of French. He has three younger siblings. Murphy was educated at Presentation Brothers College, Cork. Cillian pursued an interest in music, playing guitar in various bands. Murphy is married to Yvonne McGuinness, an artist. 

Paul Brady

Paul Brady has for over forty years been at the forefront of popular music in Ireland. A dynamic live performer traveling through Blues, Jazz, Pop, Country and Traditional Irish music in many different musical partnerships, he began composing at the end of the 70’s and has since gained a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading singer-songwriters. ‘Hard Station’, his first self-penned album in 1981, brought his songwriting to the attention of artists worldwide and his first cover came the following year when Carlos Santana recorded ‘Night Hunting Time’. Since then his songs have been sung by many inteational artists including Tina Tuer, Cher, Bonnie Raitt, Cliff Richard, Eric Clapton, Trisha Yearwood and Phil Collins and, closer to home, Ronan Keating, Maura O’Connell and Mary Black. Recently the recipient in Dublin of the National Concert Hall’s Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, Paul Brady continues to excite audiences the world over with his own songs Crazy Dreams, The Island, Nobody Knows, The Long Goodbye and traditional favorites as Arthur McBride and The Lakes of Pontchartrain.
