JP McManus is one of Ireland’s most successful businessmen, sportsmen and philanthropists. From humble origins, which he has never forgotten, JP has built up a remarkably successful business empire. He is an avid golfer and owner of thoroughbreds. He uses both his business and sporting resources to drive his philanthropy through his personal generosity and by associating leading sports figures with the causes he supports.
JP has been very generous to projects across Ireland and elsewhere but especially to his native Limerick. His particular focus is supporting young people, providing access to education, and job creation.
In celebration of JP’s great generosity and decency, we are proud to present him with the 2012 Princess Grace Humanitarian Award
