On June 9, 2011, the Chicago Regional Advisory Board hosted an intimate Leadership Forum dinner. The honored guest speakers were the British Consul General, Robert Chatterton Dickson, and the Consul General of Ireland, Martin Rouine.
Regional Board Chair, Tom Meagher, Jr.; Vice-Chair, Devon Bruce and Regional Director, Roseann LeFevour welcomed 40 board members, spouses and special guests. The Consul Generals spoke of the historic visit of Queen Elizabeth to Ireland and the continued peace building, reconciliation and cooperation between these two countries. They both acknowledged the critical work of The Ireland Funds and emphasized the need for continued support.
Renowned Irish Tenor, Paddy Homan, made a guest appearance at the dinner. It was a very informative evening filled with much camaraderie and a renewed sense of commitment to the work and mission of The Ireland Funds.
