The American Ireland Fund Gallery Circle attended the 22nd Irish Repertory Theatre Annual Benefit Gala on June 14th. A production of beloved Lerner and Loewe musical Brigadoon, the benefit boasted Broadway veterans Len Cariou, Jason Danieley, Christine Ebersole and Melissa Errico in starring roles.
Hosted by actors Matthew Broderick and Jonathan Cake, the production encompassed the full score of the Scottish-themed musical, which tells the story of Brigadoon, a magical village that only appears once every hundred years. A packed Shubert Theater listened as Broderick and Cake bantered on Irish-British relations, as Ellen McCourt toasted to the IRT's success and as Charlotte Moore drew the winner from the raffle for a trip to Ireland.
Twenty AIF guests were delighted and proud to demonstrate their support of the Irish Repertory Theatre while enjoying a night of comedy, music and Irish culture in New York. As long-standing supporters of the Irish Rep and its celebrated work, we would like to extend a hearty congratulations to Ms. Moore, Ciaran O'Reilly and the Irish Rep for the success of the 22nd Annual Benefit Gala.
