Ireland – Leadership Series with Julie Sinnamon 2017

The Dublin Young Leaders Leadership Series continued with a fascinating breakfast briefing from Julie Sinnamon, CEO of Enterprise Ireland.

Julie spoke about her family, college, her career decisions, and her desire to work with Irish companies from an early stage. She discussed her absolute respect and admiration for the heroes of Ireland: Irish entrepreneurs. She highlighted their impact across all sectors of Irish industry and their ability to drive exports in a post-Brexit Ireland. She emphasised the significant value of female entrepreneurs, and the need for mentorship and a recognition of the modern family.

Julie, a board member of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, also discussed the need and the value of philanthropy, and cultivating emerging philanthropists in Ireland, particularly noting the work and contribution of The Ireland Funds.

Many thanks to Julie Sinnamon for sharing her time and leadership knowledge with us, and to our host Davy Stockbrokers.
