Recently, we were reminded of how quickly a year passes by as we welcomed our Young Leaders to the 2019 Winter Social.
Young Leaders and friends gathered on a wintery November evening to catch-up and introduce friends to The Ireland Funds following an inspirational session with Caroline McAteer, founder and CEO of The Sports PR Company, as part of our Global Leadership Series.
Newly appointed Chair of The IFGB Young Leaders Steering Committee, Padraig O’Connor, opened the event by welcoming all and providing an overview of the ongoing work and progress to date of The Ireland Funds and the role of the Young Leaders within the organisation.
This year’s Winter Social was held at the recently opened Darby’s, a NYC inspired oyster bar, large open grill and bakery from the Irish duo Robin and Sarah Gill located beside the US Embassy’s new premises in Vauxhall, London.
