Great Britain – Global Leadership Series with Brian Dickie 2020

POSTPONED

It is with great disappointment but also with great caution that we have decided to postpone the Global Leadership Series with IFGB Trustee Brian Dickie 2020.

The well-being of our friends and supporters is of utmost importance to us and in light of the Covid-19 situation, we feel it is the appropriate decision at this time.

Should you have any questions, please contact Catherina Casey at ccasey@irelandfunds.org

We thank you for your understanding and most of all for your ongoing support of our work. Know that our thoughts are with you and your family and all those affected by this global pandemic.

Brian Dickie, IFGB Trustee and global consultant, will be guest speaker at the next Global Leadership Series session on Tuesday 12 May 2020.

Brian, who grew up in Dungannon and graduated from Oxford and Harvard Universities, will discuss his exceptional career as president of Booz, Allen & Hamilton, the global consultancy, president of TXU Energy in Dallas, and managing director in Investcorp’s London office. Now actively retired, he is chair or director of several companies in Europe and the Middle East and an advisor to three private equity/venture funds.

This is a special opportunity for the London Young Leaders to engage with a leading IFGB philanthropist. Brian joined the IFGB Board of Trustees in 2019 but has been involved with the Ireland Funds since 2000 when he lived in Dallas.
Brian was attracted to The Ireland Funds “as a way to reconnect with Ireland while supporting causes that I believe in.” He and Sue, a Harvard classmate, are passionate supporters of Integrated Education in Northern Ireland (“a fundamental prerequisite for lasting peace and a healthy society,”) and support arts and education organizations on both sides of the Atlantic.
