It was a perfect Irish day for a golf outing – clouds, rain, good friends, cheer and great golf at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield NJ. Among the many prestigious tournaments it has hosted, Baltusrol was most recently the site of the 2005 PGA Championship. Under the leadership of Golf Chairman, Tom Ryan of ING Capital, the committee, comprised of Anthony Callaghan, Esq., Bernadette Herward Davida, Esq., William P. Frank, Michael P. Higgins, Matthew McBride, Angus Miller, Shane Naughton, John O’Donoghue, Chuck Reagan, and Brian Travers, raised over $150,000 for AIF projects across the island of Ireland.
At the event, the “Inaugural Best Dressed Player Award” was given to Randy Finken who wore the most imaginative and creative outfit on the day and proved that there is still a place for plus fours in this world! He won two round trip tickets to Ireland donated by Aer Lingus. Winners prizes were sponsored by ING Capital and door prizes donated by Miller Porsche, Chuck Reagan and Rory McIlroy.
