The Consul General of Ireland, Mr. Martin Rouine, Mr. Thomas F. Meagher Jr., Chairman, Midwest Regional Advisory Board of The American Ireland Fund and Mr. Tommy Fanning, Senior Vice President, IDA Ireland hosted several business, educational and not for profit leaders at a dinner in honour of Mary Coughlan, T.D, Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Skills, on Tuesday, 28 September.
There was an invaluable discussion about selling Ireland as a study destination for US college students; educational suggestions from companies already operating in Ireland or looking to operate in Ireland and finally an opportunity to share with several other corporate leaders the advantages of doing business in Ireland if they had not already thought about doing so. Deputy Prime Minister, Mary Coughlan, conducted a very informative and enlightening question and answer session.
