June and Archie Bennett graciously welcomed the Irish Golfers and Sponsors to their fabulous home in Dallas. Guests were entertained when impersonators Roy Orbison and Elvis showed up to rock the house. Netta Blanchard shared a special dance with Roy and other guests joined in the festivities. Party goers enjoyed an evening of reminiscing with dear friends while making a few new ones.
A special private presentation was made by Tommy Gallagher and the visiting Irish golfers to June and Archie to show their deepest appreciation for the continual generosity and support for The American Ireland Fund. June received a beautiful yellow orchid, while Archie accepted a case of 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, signed by David Duncan, president of Silver Oaks, an outstanding WineGeese vineyard. They also received two suede cowboy hats given by Bob Hopkins.
The evening’s special guests included Dulany Howland, Billie Leigh Rippey, Gabrielle Stewart of Denver, Colorado, and Bobbie Sue and Dr. Phil Williams.
