Over sixty Young Leaders recently gathered at Swift Hibernian Lounge on Manhattan’s Lower East Side for a Countdown to St. Patrick’s Party. Members met to discuss the upcoming event on March 12th at Cipriani Wall Street and brainstorm on how the Young Leaders will do their part for the global Irish making a difference together.
The bar, named after Irish writer Jonathan Swift, afforded the group a warm, rustic retreat from the February cold. As they chatted over pints, Young Leaders discussed the upcoming Celebration in an authentically Hibernian setting. Invoking Swift’s blessing, “May you live all the days of your life,” the Countdown to St. Patrick’s Party was a great step towards NYC’s best St. Patrick’s Celebration, expected to raise more than $200,000 in support of Irish and Irish-American projects.
