The Ireland Funds Denver chapter held its first Denver Advisory Committee Meeting with a working lunch at Denver Country Club hosted by club member Mr. Edward Timmins, President of Timmins LLC.
Darina Padian, Texas and Colorado Director began the luncheon by welcoming the committee and sharing updates from The Ireland Funds America including National Board Officer announcements; Flagship Grant announcements; The Ireland Funds Annual Worldwide Conference scheduled for June 24-28, 2020 in Killarney, Ireland and other upcoming scheduled events in Texas for 2020.
The committee continued with discussions on the development of The Ireland Funds Denver chapter and potential events to consider for Denver in 2020 to raise awareness in Denver of our mission to promote and support peace, culture, education and community development throughout the island of Ireland, and Irish-related causes around the world.
