The American Ireland Fund Chicago Young Leaders enjoyed an after dark party at Chicago’s Art Institute on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 9:00pm until midnight.
There were special tours of the exhibit; performances by acclaimed theatrical ensemble Collaboration and a DJ provided the dance music. The group gathered at the Gage prior to the start of the event.
The American Ireland Fund is a sponsor of this exhibit featuring over 300 objects drawn from public and private collections across North America—as well as the Art Institute’s own important collection of Irish decorative and fine arts—this exhibition is the first to explore the rich and complex art and culture of Ireland during the 18th century.
This is a must see exhibit.
