The Ireland Funds Chicago was delighted to partner with the City Club of Chicago on Friday April 21st 2023 to host the Irish Ambassador to the US, Geraldine Byrne Nason, for a special luncheon on the occasion of her first official visit to Chicago.
Ambassador Byrne Nason delivered a powerful speech on the importance of the relationship between the US and Ireland and the very special bond that Chicago holds with Ireland.
We were delighted to hear from some special guests who discussed the business relationship between Ireland and Chicago including Marianne O’Shea of PepsiCo, Iarlaith Smyth of Ornua, Trish Rooney of R4 Services and the panel was moderated by Caitriona Fottrell of The Ireland Funds.
Afterwards we were treated to a very special performance of dance from the Chicago Human Rhythm Project.
