Boston Young Leaders St. Patrick’s Celebration 2014

More than 600 guests gathered for The American Ireland Fund Boston Young Leaders’ St. Patrick’s Celebration at the Boston Harbor Hotel and raised over $140,000. The evening supported The American Ireland Fund’s work across the island of Ireland and its Promising Ireland Campaign to assist Irish charities.

The 2014 event was chaired by Miceal Chamberlain, Jr. of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Vice-chairs included Amy Koch (Standish), Chris Hagan (Adviser Investments), John Cronin (State Street Global Advisors) and Kate Sheridan (Suffolk Construction).

One of the night’s highlights was a special “flash mob” performance by the University College Dublin Choral Scholars, Ireland’s national award-winning a cappella ensemble. The event also featured local Irish band Devri, back by popular demand. It was a great night of terrific food, Guinness, conversation and good friends celebrating Ireland.

“We are thrilled to have such a spirited and committed group of Boston young leaders.  In true Boston Irish fashion this year, they are continuing The Ireland Funds’ tradition of wonderful events around the world that advance the mission of supporting Ireland and Irish-related causes,” said Steve Greeley, New England Director of The American Ireland Fund.
