On December 3rd, The Ireland Funds Boston Young Leaders held their 2025 Holiday Celebration at the UMass Club of Boston.
The evening was an opportunity for the Young Leaders Committee to welcome new members and share the incredible success of this program, thanks to everyone’s hard work and passion for giving back to the island of Ireland and the local Boston community. The Ireland Funds is grateful to this remarkable group and the energy and enthusiasm they bring to the organization’s fundraising.
Maudy Dooher, VP of Development at The Ireland Funds, took a moment to thank the Young Leaders Co-Chairs—Colleen Kelly, Sean Hannigan, and John Flaherty. Their unwavering support, dedication, and bold leadership over the past two years have been pivotal to this success. As they step down from their roles, they will stay involved by bringing their insight and ideas to the Young Leaders Steering Committee, which is instrumental in shaping the future of the Young Leaders’ success in Boston.
Collen, Sean & John thanked everyone for their support and commended the Young Leaders Committee for its hard work and commitment in advancing the mission of The Ireland Funds. They wished everyone a wonderful Holiday season and said they were looking forward to working with everyone to plan the 2026 St. Patrick’s Celebration at the Intercontinental Hotel on March 12.
Woven into this night of festivities was a real sense of camaraderie, a shared desire to make a difference, and a profound connection to Ireland.
