Over 100 guests attended The Ireland Funds on Cape Cod event—an evening generously hosted at The Mansion at Ocean Edge by The Ireland Funds America Board Director Suzanne Corcoran and the Corcoran family.
Suzanne Corcoran spoke about “need and connection”, two compelling reasons to support the work of The Ireland Funds. She went on to reflect on The Ireland Funds’ philanthropic responses to needs on the ground across Ireland and the deep connection to Ireland cultivated by her parents, Joe and Rose.
President & CEO of The Ireland Funds Caitriona Fottrell thanked donors for their support which had, among other things, enabled immediate response to the crisis in Ukraine through The Ireland Funds Ukrainian Relief Fund which is helping thousands of refugees upon their arrival in Ireland.
She went on to highlight more impact enabled by supporters. She thanked them on behalf of the organizations in 100 communities all over Ireland who had received a grant from The Ireland Funds Heart of the Community Fund and the over 200 students attending university through The Ireland Funds No Mind Left Behind program.
It was a beautiful summer evening in support of The Ireland Funds ongoing work across the island of Ireland.
