Sydney Young Leaders Christmas Drinks 27 November

The Sydney Young Leaders’ gathered on Thursday the 27th of November at Ryan’s Bar to celebrate the year that was with new and old friends. Ryan’s bar served delicious finger food to the hungry crowd in the spacious outdoor bar as the DJ helped everyone relax after work.

The event gave the Australian Ireland Fund Young Leaders and their guests the opportunity to catch up & network over a drink or two to celebrate the start of the Christmas season whilst supporting the philanthropic work of the Australian Ireland Fund.

A raffle was held to raise funds for the Australian Ireland Fund’s flagship charities, namely Darndale Belcamp Child Services and Barnardos in Ireland. The top prizes included a wardrobe consultation by Shauna Currenti and a night of learning the art of poker with Miss Moneypenny’s school of Texas Hold’em, both prizes being kindly donated to the Fund. A big congratulations to the winners and our sincere thanks to everyone who supported the raffle on the night. Thanks also to those who became financial Young Leaders on the night, to those that renewed and to renewing Benefactors. The Young Leaders are also very grateful to all of our sponsors.

A special thanks to Australian Ireland Fund Board Member Peter Ryan for providing and hosting such a wonderful night at Ryan’s bar even managing to keep the rain away!

Special Guests on the evening included Consul General Jane Connolly, Amber and Derek Cleary representing the Ryan family and Australian Ireland Fund Executive Director Teresa Keating.
