Join us for the next event in our Ireland Funds Women in Leadership and Philanthropy series of events. Our Networking Evening will be held on Wednesday 18th October with special guest speaker Sarah O’Carroll, Editor-In-Chief at Forbes Australia in conversation with Helen Waldron. Sarah will share her story and you will have the opportunity to ask Sarah questions on her remarkable career.
Our events aim to empower, inspire, and give.
Through our networking initiatives, we will support each other as current and future business leaders in Australia, leveraging and sharing our collective networks and experience.
Through our charitable efforts and initiatives, we aim to accelerate the impact of our charity partners and support women in Ireland and Australia.
Places are limited, Ticket are $50 per person, with $25 of this being tax deductible.
Our events aim to raise funds for important projects we hope to support together. To give you a flavour for now, here’s an example of two:
- Safe Ireland, work hard to support women and children who are experiencing violence and abuse, to make Ireland the safest country in the world for women and children, which in turn will make Ireland safer for all its citizens. We will work with Safe Ireland to change culture and transform the response to domestic violence.
- No Mind Left Behind: All across the island of Ireland there are promising young people from areas of disadvantage, who need an opportunity to enter third-level education. No Mind Left Behind is an initiative developed by The Ireland Funds to give promising young people an opportunity to complete their third-level education by providing an annual scholarship to cover the costs of books, accommodation, and other key expenses. The programme has helped over 200 students so far with a life changing scholarship.
