Australia – Women in Leadership and Philanthropy Luncheon 2024

Women in Leadership and Philanthropy Luncheon

We were delighted to have fantastic support for our Women in Leadership and Philanthropy luncheon on Thursday 22nd February. We were so thankful for the support of BHP Australia and delighted that the Irish Consulate, Enterprise Ireland and Tourism Ireland partnered with us as we celebrated St Brigid’s Day and the commencement of the International Women’s season.

It was so wonderful to see 200 guests fill the room for our inaugural lunch as we witnessed an inspiring panel discussion with Fiona Bones – VP International Controller, Google and Niamh Corcoran – Head of Procurement Performance & Integration, BHP Australia, being interviewed by the amazing Sarah O’Carroll – Editor-in-Chief, Forbes Australia. The room was full of energy and it was an absolute privilege to hear these women’s stories.

The foundation of our Women in Leadership and Philanthropy series is to bring women together who have a love of, or connection to, Ireland and to continue to build this network that can empower, inspire, and give. It was fabulous to see so many successful people in the room coming together to not only connect with others and empower ourselves, but also give back to those less fortunate. This series will see us support the No Mind Left Behind Scholarship Program assisting promising young women who otherwise may not be able to attend University.

We look forward to building on this initiative which we truly think has something special as a group of successful Irish business women coming together to celebrate and empower each other, nurture younger women coming through and give back to those less fortunate.
