Australia – Melbourne Young Leaders Mundy on a Tuesday 2017

Melbourne Young Leaders Mundy on a Tuesday

A balmy evening in the ‘World’s Most Liveable City’ presented the perfect backdrop for a glorious night at Southbank’s Ludlow restaurant for ‘Mundy on a Tuesday’.

After a warm welcome by Melbourne Young Leader’s Chair, Sandra Booth, guests dined on a fabulous menu that was inspired by the evening’s VIPs, Mundy and Sonia O’Sullivan.

After Entrées, the evening’s MC, Catherine Murphy, welcomed Mundy and Sonia to the stage to talk about their careers and share hilarious anecdotes about the recent experiences on Ireland’s Celebrity MasterChef. It’s obvious that Sonia’s competitive streak isn’t limited to the running track, but a handful of scallops proved a trifle too much for this sporting legend. And whilst Mundy’s artistic prowess extends well beyond the recording studio, guests were left scratching their heads why three types of cabbage couldn’t bring him home the bacon on Celebrity MasterChef.

The highlight of the evening was an intimate set performed up by Mundy, which included his legendary hits July, Galway Girl and To You I bestow.

The Boomtown Rats might not like Mondays, but we simply loved Mundy on a Tuesday.

Thank you to all our guests for helping us kick off St Patrick’s week in style!
