On a balmy Brisbane evening at Blackbird Bar, the Ireland Funds Australia hosted their annual Brisbane Christmas Drinks.
With stunning views along the Brisbane River, friends and supporters of the Fund gathered together to reflect on a successful year and raise awareness of the Ireland Funds and the worthy projects we support. Brisbane Young Leader Jude Bolger was happy to share with guests some highlights from a successful year including our Grant Round in June 2019 of over $400,000 to support 18 projects both in Ireland and here in Australia, a very proud achievement and one that was only possible through the ongoing generosity of our supporters.
Like all great Christmas events, the drinks flowed, the craic was had and the stomachs were lined, thanks to the amazing staff at Blackbird Bar. We also had some great prizes won in our raffle, thank you to NuvHo and World Sherpas for sponsoring.
A huge thanks to everybody who attended and has supported us throughout the year. We are looking forward to a very successful 2020 and beyond.
