Over 300 guests attended The Ireland Funds traditional Rugby Lunch in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel on Friday 11th February.
The lunch honoured Irish Rugby Legend, Ollie Campbell who not only is one of Ireland’s most celebrated players, but was involved in the Peace International organized by The Ireland Funds in 1996. Jack Kyle, our 2010 Honoree, presented Ollie with his award at the event.
On hand to pay tribute to Ollie was the Chairman of The Ireland Funds, Hugo MacNeill. Other former rugby internationals in attendance included Brendan Mullen, Willie Duggan, Denis Hickie, Fergus Slattery and The Ireland Funds' Board Director, Trevor Ringland.
Amongst the attendees were Irish Board Directors Claire Cronin, Caroline Kennedy, David Duffy, Michael Houlihan, Mark Cunningham, Larry Powell & Philip Nolan and overseas Chapters were represented by Basil Geoghegan, Peter Sutherland, Sheila Bailey, Loretta Brennan Glucksman and Kieran McLoughlin who spoke to the capacity crowd about The Ireland Funds Promising Ireland Campaign.
Thanks to all attendees for their wonderful support.
