The Ambassador’s dinner at the Embassy of Ireland is an annual highlight for donors and friends of The Ireland Funds Great Britain. The evening convenes the great and the good of the Irish in Britain to thank them for their support and to engage them further in the work of The Ireland Funds. Over 16,000 people benefited from the grants from Ireland Funds GB last year alone; Bridget Walsh, Chair of IFGB, expressed gratitude to supporters for their generosity, whilst calling on their collective support to help IFGB achieve the next phase of its strategy and future goals.
Katie Jemmett, Executive Director of IFGB, highlighted the significant impact that donors have made in improving lives and creating opportunities for individuals, families and communities throughout Britain and Ireland.
Guests were delighted with Ambassador Fraser’s open dialogue following his after dinner remarks.
The evening closed with a beautiful guitar performance by Sacha Bistany.
