We were thrilled to host our Young Leader Sydney Kick Off Drinks last Wednesday 18th February at the iconic Sydney Opera Bar. Despite the rain, it was a terrific turnout and a strong way to start the year.
A huge thank you to Applejack Hospitality and the entire team at Opera Bar for hosting us and partnering with us on the night. The hospitality was exceptional! We’re also very grateful to the Lansdowne Club for their ongoing support and donation of tickets to their sold‑out St Patrick’s Day Lunch, which is always an incredible day.
The event fostered connections leading to new friendships, job opportunities and involvement with community groups. Some attendees credited previous Young Leaders drinks for career changes and helping them remain in Australia, demonstrating the impact of these gatherings.
Together, we raised over $1,800 for:
- Cape York Girl Academy
- Together Academy
- Irish support agencies in NSW, Victoria and Queensland
