The Ireland Funds Boston Young Leaders Summer Social
Over 120 supporters of The Ireland Funds gathered at The Dubliner on June 6 for The Ireland Funds Boston Young Leaders Summer Social.
Event Co-Chairs Sean Hannigan and John Flaherty welcomed those gathered and thanked the Young Leaders Committee for their dedication to the mission of The Ireland Funds and their contributions to the event’s success. Paul Rooney, Vice Consul General of Ireland in Boston, was in attendance along with Josh Kraft, President of the New England Patriots Foundation.
Tim Griffiths from Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, one of the many organizations supported by The Ireland Funds, spoke to those gathered. He thanked The Ireland Funds for its support and shared stories of two social entrepreneurs whose success was greatly accelerated by the funding and grants they had received.
In addition to the thanks from Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, guests had an opportunity to hear about the impact The Ireland Funds has on hundreds of nonprofit organizations working in communities across the island of Ireland.
Thanks to the Boston Bruins for donating a team-signed Boston Bruins Jersey as a door prize.
