Biden shows off his Irish roots at a dinner where everything is (mostly) back to normal

Washington is back to normal, or as normal as it’s going to be for a while. President Biden made a rare social appearance Wednesday night at the Ireland Funds’ 30th National Gala, both to honor his roots in Ireland and as a signal that he’s ready to dive into the post-pandemic life.
