The Ireland Funds Canada celebrated their Annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon on Friday March 8, 2019 at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto.
This event is the largest and longest St. Patrick’s Day Lunch in the world. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all things Irish while supporting a compelling cause that recognizes the contribution Irish immigration has made to Canada.
Once again, the Annual Luncheon was an outstanding success, with over 800 guests in attendance representing corporate Canada from the legal profession, financial sector, real estate development and travel industries. We were honoured to welcome Dignitaries from Canada, Ireland and the UK this year: Minister of Environment and Climate Change, The Honourable Catherine McKenna; Mr Richard Bruton TD, Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment and Mr Kevin McGurgan OBE, British Consul General and Director General International Trade.
