The Ireland Funds Great Britain (IFGB) has announced that its 2018 Grant Round will open on 31 October. The objective of the Grant Round is to contribute much needed funds to organisations across Great Britain and the island of Ireland with projects supporting:
• community development
• culture
• peace and reconciliation
• education
Not-for-profit and charitable organisations with an annual income of less than €/£1,000,000 may apply to IFGB for a grant to support their work to deliver their charitable objectives. Grants will not be made to individuals and the maximum amount that can be applied for is €/£10,000.

30th Anniversary Celebration
2018 is a milestone year for The Ireland Funds Great Britain as it celebrates the 30th anniversary of the chapter’s foundation. Earlier this year, Rory Godson, CEO, Powerscourt Ltd was appointed Chair of the Board. On the 29th November, supporters of The Ireland Funds will gather for a celebration dinner at One Great George Street to mark the 30th anniversary. A number of individuals will be honoured at the event including one of the founders of The Ireland Funds, Sir Anthony O’Reilly, Mary Robinson, formerly President of Ireland and Sean Mulryan, CEO of Ballymore Group.
