rnAs part of a series of events that celebrate the business, political, rnphilanthropic and creative achievements of the women of the Irish rndiaspora, The American Ireland Fund Women’s Group gathered together in rnthe stunning Carlyle Hotel in New York to meet with leading Irish rnfashion designer, Louise Kennedy. Following launches in Dublin and rnLondon, Louise brought her 2016 Fall Collection to New York for the rnfirst time.

rnA longtime friend and supporter of The Ireland Funds, Louise and her rnteam welcomed guests and presented her latest collection to all those rnwho attended.

rnSince establishing her business, Louise has earned an international rnreputation for creating clothes that are appreciated for their rnsophistication and elegance, a luxurious approach to modern feminine rndressing. Highlights of Louise’s career include being commissioned by rnPresident Mary Robinson, the first female President of Ireland, to rndesign for her inauguration ceremony. Her clients include members of thernBritish, European and Middle Eastern Royal Families and many rnaward-winning actresses such as Meryl Streep and Julianne Moore.
