The Dublin Young Leaders Leadership Series continued with a superb breakfast briefing from the wonderfully engaging Louise Phelan. Louise is PayPal’s Vice President of Global Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa. She leads 2,600 teammates in Dublin, Dundalk and Berlin, working together in a culture of collaboration, respect and innovation. Louise is also a non-executive Director at Ryanair and a member of the Action Plan for Jobs Implementation Group. She was the 2014 President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland.
Louise spoke candidly about her career, including her successes and failures. Her advice was clear: invest in people, compete fearlessly, innovate constantly and lead completely.
