Thirty donors of The American Ireland Fund from ten cities gathered in the 21 Club for dinner on the evening of the Board Retreat.
It was an opportunity for Board Members to reacquaint themselves with each other and enjoy a little down time in advance of the rigors of the following day.
However to help frame the conversation, Scott Nichols, possibly the most celebrated fundraiser in the US, spoke of the rapid growth on the Fund in recent years. He has seen the organization evolve from being a movement to becoming a sophisticated institution to compare with the best anywhere.
The camaraderie of the night was a perfect curtain raiser before the Board Retreat the following day.
